Tunisian Trade Minister Samir Oubid announced the launch of a series of regional meetings to promote the 'Easy Export' program, which aims to simplify exports for small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as artisans and entrepreneurs. The regional meetings will focus on introducing the 'Easy Export' program, its procedures, and practical explanations for enterprises and artisans. The meetings will also provide an opportunity for stakeholders to discuss their concerns and challenges, as well as identify products and activities with export potential in each region.
Minister Oubid highlighted that the development of national exports also involves enhancing the economic and competitive advantages of each region. He stressed that the Ministry will continue to work on developing export financing mechanisms and expanding the base of exporting enterprises, which will contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of Tunisian products and diversifying export markets and products.
The 'Easy Export' program is part of a broader project to modernize Tunisia's external trade system by simplifying and digitizing procedures and improving services for economic operators. The program is funded by the European Union, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, and implemented by the German Development Cooperation (GIZ) and the International Trade Centre (ITC).
