Additionally, studies will be conducted to implement a comprehensive maintenance program for the Al-Barmaki Institute in Manzel Chaker, including sports facilities, and to expand the institute and maintain its various spaces.
The minister also authorized the programming of a second phase at the preparatory school in As-Saadi, Al-Amira, after completing the final reception procedures for the project. Furthermore, he approved the creation of a sports hall and an artificial turf sports field at the preparatory school in the educational complex in Al-Awabed, Sfax South. The minister also instructed the preparation of studies to expand the institution and provide sports equipment at the primary school in the same complex.
For institutions under the regional education delegation of Sfax 1, the minister allocated necessary funds to implement a comprehensive intervention program at the 15 November 1955 Institute in Sfax City. The program includes the development of all school spaces, courtyards, and main entrances to the institution, as well as the completion of studies and the launch of a call for tenders. The minister also authorized the provision of computer equipment and the renovation of the teachers' lounge and the entire school furniture.
The minister instructed the contractor responsible for the project to build a preparatory school in Bir Ali Ben Khalifa to accelerate the pace of work to complete the project by the end of the current year. He also ordered the preparation of a comprehensive architectural and technical study for the various components of the institution and a feasibility study to establish a primary school within the institution's perimeter.
During his visit, the minister visited several educational institutions, including the primary school in Halalfa, Hanaicha, where he participated in a ceremony to raise the flag and observed the institution's experience in utilizing the pedagogical farm and model library. He also visited the Al-Barmaki Institute in Manzel Chaker, the preparatory school in As-Saadi, Al-Amira, and the educational complex in Al-Awabed, Sfax South.
The minister emphasized the importance of coordination between various stakeholders to maintain the quality of the new school year's launch and provide a safe and conducive learning environment. He was accompanied by the Sfax governor, Mohamed Hajri, and the regional education delegates of Sfax 1 and Sfax 2, as well as several central and regional education officials.
