A specific session will be dedicated to green hydrogen and investment opportunities in this sector.
Financing is a major focus of the conference, with B2B meetings planned between companies, investors, banks, and financial institutions to promote partnerships and identify funding solutions for new projects. The last day of the conference will also feature technical presentations on solar installations, project security, and financing modalities.
SITE 2026 takes place at a time when Tunisia is seeking to accelerate its energy transition, driven by its growing dependence on energy imports. The 2026-2030 development plan, approved by parliament in July, sets a goal of increasing the share of renewable energies to 35% of the energy mix by 2030, up from 6-7% currently, and reducing primary energy consumption by 30%.
The conference aims to become Tunisia's main professional event dedicated to energy transition, with the goal of transforming exchanges between institutions and sector players into concrete projects, partnerships, and investments. The event is organized by the National Chamber of Photovoltaics (CSPV) under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Energy.
