The Tunisian pavilion at the "Exposition-événement" in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, was inaugurated on October 7, 2026, under the supervision of the Tunisian ambassador to Kinshasa, Mahrez Ferchichi. The Tunisian participation in the expo was coordinated with the Tunisian Export Promotion Centre in Kinshasa, and features several Tunisian companies active in the construction sector. The goal is to promote national products and expertise, and to explore new opportunities for cooperation and partnership with economic actors in the Democratic Republic of Congo and other sub-Saharan African countries.
The expo, themed "Kinshasa: a catalyst for urban transformation in the Democratic Republic of Congo," features a range of projects, studies, and products related to construction, infrastructure, and urban development. Tunisian companies showcased their expertise in modern and smart technologies for building materials and thermal insulation, which are environmentally friendly and cost-effective.
The Tunisian pavilion was visited by the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Félix Tshisekedi Tshilombo, who praised the expertise and quality of the projects on display. He particularly commended the use of innovative and smart technologies in the construction sector, which align with the country's efforts to promote green economy.

The event features meetings between government officials, representatives of public institutions, international financial institutions, and companies active in the construction and urban development sectors.
The expo also includes B2B meetings between institutions and economic actors, as well as roundtable discussions between representatives of institutions and governments. These aim to facilitate the conclusion of deals and the establishment of mutually beneficial partnerships, as well as to explore opportunities for Tunisian companies to participate in development projects in the Congolese market.
