The Tunisian Interior Ministry's Informatics Center has announced the opening of an external competition for the recruitment of 8 frameworks in 2026. The competition, which will run from October 5 to November 5, 2026, will be based on files, written and oral tests. The positions available include 3 senior engineers in informatics or communications, 3 analysts in software engineering, information systems or big data analysis, and 2 administrators in finance or accounting.

To be eligible, candidates must meet specific scientific requirements and conditions of nationality, age and judicial antecedents. Candidates for the senior engineer position must be registered with the Order of Engineers. The registration is mandatory through the competition website. The initial selection will be done automatically based on the baccalaureate average multiplied by 1 and the graduation year average multiplied by 2.

Candidates who have been preliminarily accepted will have to submit their paper files. Those whose files are accepted will undergo written tests in the form of multiple-choice questions, followed by oral tests. The final mark will be calculated with 60% for the written test and 40% for the oral test, with a required average of at least 10 out of 20.

The administration has set a maximum number of accepted files in the first phase at 30 files per position of senior engineer and analyst, and 20 files for the administrator position. This is equivalent to about ten times the number of open positions. Candidates can follow the competition website to access various stages of the process, lists of accepted candidates, test dates and results.

The positions available are part of the Interior Ministry's efforts to strengthen its informatics capacities. The ministry has been investing in the development of its digital infrastructure in recent years. The recruitment of these new frameworks is expected to enhance the ministry's ability to manage and analyze data, as well as improve its communication and information systems.

The competition is open to Tunisian citizens who meet the required conditions. The Interior Ministry's Informatics Center is responsible for the implementation of the ministry's informatics strategy. The center is in charge of the development, maintenance and operation of the ministry's information systems.

The launch of this competition is part of the Interior Ministry's efforts to modernize its services and improve its performance. The recruitment of new frameworks will enable the ministry to better respond to the needs of citizens and improve its services. The competition will also provide an opportunity for young Tunisians to join the public service and contribute to the development of the country.
