The conference program includes a session on the digital transformation of healthcare in Tunisia, featuring the Tunisian Ministry of Health, the Tunisian Association for Telemedicine, and companies such as Huawei. There will also be a session on the future of digital health, artificial intelligence, and data sovereignty, with participation from experts from the United Nations, the United Kingdom, France, and Switzerland.
The first day of the conference will feature a keynote speech by Tunisian Health Minister Mustafa Al-Ferjani and African Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director-General Jean Kaseba. Other speakers will include representatives from the Arab Organization for Communication and Information Technology, the German Ambassador to Tunisia, and officials from the World Bank and Huawei.
The conference will also include specialized sessions and workshops on topics such as supporting startups in the health technology sector, promoting equitable access to medical diagnosis through medical imaging and telemedicine, and cybersecurity in digital health. The second day will also feature a roundtable discussion on national digital health authorities, with participation from representatives from Algeria, Egypt, Ghana, Pakistan, Kenya, and South Korea. There will also be a session on partnerships between the public and private sectors to achieve better patient outcomes, featuring the World Economic Forum and companies such as Pfizer and Roche.
The final day of the conference will feature practical workshops on topics such as building interoperable health systems and developing digital health projects that are acceptable and adoptable. The conference aims to provide a platform for exchanging experiences and expertise on digital health, telemedicine, and artificial intelligence, and to explore mechanisms for promoting international partnerships and developing applicable solutions to support healthcare development and achieve equity in access to healthcare.
