The city of Yasmine Hammamet in Tunisia is hosting the Arab Radios Union technology and equipment expo, which is part of the 26th Arab Radios Union festival. The Tunisian Minister of Tourism, Sufian Tkaia, inaugurated the expo, highlighting the synergy between the media and tourism sectors. Tkaia also announced that Tunisia is preparing to host the "Arab Tourism Capital" event in 2027.

Minister Tkaia further stated that Tunisia is working on diversifying its tourism product, including desert, beach, wellness, adventure, and business tourism, while adopting a comprehensive development model that values regional specifics and a cultural heritage spanning over 3,000 years. He also mentioned that the ministry is working with the Arab Radios Union to launch a digital platform for content creators, startups, and influencers.

The President of the Arab Radios Union, Mohammed bin Fahd Al Harthi, emphasized that the expo is part of the union's efforts to support Arab broadcasting institutions through digital transformation, infrastructure development, and capacity building. He noted that the significant increase in global participation in the expo reflects its importance as a platform for benefiting from technological advancements and engaging with global companies.

The expo, which covers an area of 2,500 square meters, brings together 85 exhibitors from five continents, distributed across 110 booths.
