The European Union accounted for 56.6% of Tunisia's olive oil exports, with Spain and Italy being the main buyers at 31.9% and 19.8%, respectively. North America accounted for 24.4% of exports, with the United States and Canada being the primary destinations. Asia accounted for 11.5% of exports, with Saudi Arabia and Jordan being key markets.
Tunisia's olive oil exports to Africa accounted for only 3.7% of total exports, with Egypt being the main market. The country's organic olive oil exports reached 53,000 tons, valued at approximately $699.7 million, during the first 10 months of the 2025/2026 season. However, packaged organic olive oil accounted for only 6.3% of total organic olive oil exports.
The average price of organic olive oil was $13.20/kg, ranging from $12.96/kg for bulk oil to $16.74/kg for packaged oil. Italy was the largest buyer of Tunisia's organic olive oil, accounting for 39% of exports, followed by Spain, the United States, and France.
