Traditional authorities and stakeholders in Esiama have expressed gratitude to Angela Dialla Attieh, Chief Executive Officer of ADAMUS Resources Limited, for her support towards the development of Esiama Senior High Technical School. The commendation came after ADAMUS Resources donated 200 tables and chairs, 150 pairs of sports shoes, and 350 sanitary pads to the school. This gesture was acknowledged during a familiarisation visit by a delegation of chiefs and elders to the school.

The delegation, led by Nana Ainoo Kwagyan III, Divisional Chief of Esiama, included notable figures such as Dr George Sipa Yankey, Development Chief of Esiama and Board Chairman of the Tema Shipyard and Dry Dock Company. Dr Sipa Yankey, a former Minister of Health, praised Madam Attieh's efforts and encouraged ADAMUS Resources to invest further in initiatives that enhance teaching and learning. He highlighted the positive impact of the donations, particularly the reduction of the furniture deficit.

Dr Sipa Yankey also commended ADAMUS Resources for the ongoing renovation of the girls' dormitory and plans to construct a new dormitory block for female students. Additionally, he noted that the company had constructed a 15-seater ultra-modern water closet toilet facility for the school. However, he expressed concern about the poor state of the school's science laboratory, which lacks necessary apparatus and equipment for practical lessons.

The delegation's visit aimed to translate commitments made during the annual Kundum Festival into tangible development outcomes. Nana Ainoo Kwagyan III emphasised the need for additional infrastructure, including classroom blocks, dormitories, and teachers' accommodation, due to the increasing student population. He assured students and staff of his determination to support efforts to secure more projects to improve teaching and learning.

Mr Francis Amissah, Headmaster of the school, commended the chiefs and elders for their continuous support. He highlighted development milestones achieved through Dr Sipa Yankey's efforts, particularly the ongoing boys' dormitory project. The project was initially lobbied for through Ghana Gas and is currently being continued by ADAMUS Resources.

The Kundum Festival, which marks the end of one harvest season and the beginning of another, highlighted the need for stakeholders to champion development initiatives within the community. The festival's climax had brought together various stakeholders, who expressed their aspirations for the development of Esiama. The traditional authorities' visit to the school was a follow-up to these commitments.

The support from ADAMUS Resources and the traditional authorities reflects a collaborative effort to improve education in Esiama. The development of Esiama Senior High Technical School is seen as crucial to enhancing the quality of education and providing students with the necessary infrastructure for effective learning.
