In a significant show of support, high-profile Nigerian leaders have urged 10,000 newly inaugurated members of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement to intensify grassroots mobilisation for President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid in 2027. The call was made during the inauguration of the Osun State chapter of the movement in Osogbo. The leaders emphasised the need for extensive mobilisation to ensure Tinubu's continuity agenda.
The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, represented by Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, commended Tompolo for supporting the initiative and his nationwide advocacy for Tinubu's re-election. Oyetola highlighted the growing visibility of Tinubu's presidential campaign across the South-West and the region's responsibility to deliver substantial votes for the President in the 2027 general election.
Oyetola expressed confidence that the APC could achieve its target of mobilising 1.5 million votes for Tinubu in Osun State, provided party members remained united, disciplined, and committed to the task. He also called on Nigerians, irrespective of their political affiliations, to support Tinubu's continuity agenda and contribute to the success of his re-election campaign.
Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, represented by his deputy, Kola Adewusi, urged members of other political parties to put past disagreements behind them and unite in support of Tinubu's re-election. The National Coordinator of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, Comrade Sunday Adekanbi, called on eligible voters to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and work towards delivering two million votes for Tinubu from Osun State.

Pondi expressed confidence in Tinubu's reform agenda, citing its positive impact on the economy and investor confidence.
Pondi challenged the movement's members to ensure that Tinubu secured at least 90 per cent of the votes in Osun State, arguing that the President deserved overwhelming support for his leadership. The Osun State Coordinator of the movement, Rtr. Amb. Adeolu Olanrewaju, assured the national leadership that the state chapter would deliver on its mandate through extensive grassroots engagement.
The National Secretary of the APC, Senator Ajibola Basiru, highlighted the achievements of the Tinubu administration, including the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), infrastructure development, and improvements in the economy.
