The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, led by High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has launched its grassroots mobilisation campaign in Taraba State, calling on residents to support the re-election of President Bola Tinubu. The movement's Grand Patron, represented by High Chief Kestin Pondi, stated that Taraba was benefiting from President Tinubu's policies and stressed that continuity was necessary to sustain the gains recorded so far. Tompolo emphasized that the President's reforms require more time to consolidate and deliver greater benefits to Nigerians.
According to Tompolo, Taraba is thriving due to President Tinubu's good reformation policies that are moving the state forward. He noted that if the people want those policies to continue and be more solid, they need to give the President another four years. This, he believes, will ensure that civil servants continue to receive their salaries as at when due, while Governor Agbu Kefas will have more time to develop the state. Tompolo also acknowledged that reforms come with challenges but require time to produce their full benefits.
Tompolo urged supporters of the movement to take the campaign to every level of society, including homes, religious centres, wards, local government areas, and polling units. He attributed the reduction in challenges previously experienced by Nigerians, such as fuel queues and disruptions in university education, to the policies of the administration. The movement's National Coordinator, Sunday Asuku, commended Governor Kefas for his achievements in Taraba State over the past three years.
Governor Agbu Kefas, speaking at the event, said the people of Taraba State were already witnessing the impact of President Tinubu's administration through projects being implemented in the state. He pledged massive support for President Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, assuring that the state would continue to work with the Federal Government on development projects. The governor emphasized that his administration remained committed to the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President.
The highlight of the event was the donation of 25 campaign vehicles, generators, and electronic speakers for grassroots mobilisation. The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement's campaign in Taraba State is part of a larger effort to extend its message of support for President Tinubu and Governor Kefas. The movement aims to mobilize Nigerians to maintain the current political direction, arguing that abandoning the reforms of President Tinubu's administration would be counterproductive.
Governor Kefas expressed confidence that the state would deliver 100 percent votes for President Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election. The governor's commitment to the President's Renewed Hope Agenda and the state's development projects was evident in his address. Tompolo's movement has been actively engaging in grassroots mobilisation efforts across the country.
The campaign launch in Taraba State is a significant development in the lead-up to the 2027 presidential election. President Tinubu's administration has been working to implement various reforms and development projects across the country. The outcome of the election will likely have a significant impact on the future of Nigeria.
