Bello declared that the overwhelming reception accorded him by the people during his homecoming reaffirmed his confidence in the APC's continued strength. He said he had never doubted the loyalty and support of his people, expressing confidence that the people of Kogi Central remained firmly aligned with the APC and its leadership. Bello emphasized that the reception demonstrated the deep bond between him and the people he served as governor.

The former governor also expressed confidence in the continued support of the people for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo's administration. He said the people of Kogi State understood the developmental direction of the APC-led administrations at the federal and state levels. Bello, who is seeking to represent Kogi Central in the Senate, said he was equally confident that the electorate would support him and other APC candidates. He described the massive turnout during his homecoming as a spontaneous expression of affection and solidarity from the people, rather than an induced event.
