The Tinubu Health Sector Practitioners Alliance (TIHSEPA) has initiated plans to strengthen its nationwide mobilisation structure, focusing on promoting President Bola Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda and mobilising support for his re-election in 2027. According to Dr. Ogechi Lokpobiri, National Coordinator of TIHSEPA, the group will leverage the momentum from the President's campaign launch in Kaduna State to engage healthcare professionals across primary and secondary healthcare institutions.

Dr. Lokpobiri congratulated President Tinubu on the successful campaign launch, describing the public turnout as an indication of growing confidence in the administration's Renewed Hope Agenda. She noted that the alliance would concentrate on engaging healthcare professionals and other stakeholders involved in the delivery of medical services, providing an opportunity to communicate the administration's health sector interventions.

The mobilisation programme aims to encourage practitioners to support policies aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery, with a focus on healthcare infrastructure, professional training, maternal health, and insurance coverage. Dr. Lokpobiri emphasised that President Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda recognises the health of Nigerians as fundamental to the country's productivity, prosperity, and future.

As a key component of national development, healthcare professionals are considered important stakeholders in the country's development process. Dr. Lokpobiri reaffirmed TIHSEPA's commitment to working closely with practitioners and other stakeholders to promote the administration's achievements and strengthen support for its policies.

Dr. Lokpobiri called on health sector professionals to support President Tinubu's re-election, citing the benefits of continuity in consolidating ongoing reforms, sustaining investments, and pursuing improvements in healthcare delivery. She said the alliance would continue to expand its engagements across the country as the 2027 presidential election approaches.

The health sector's contribution to national productivity and human capital development makes healthcare professionals crucial stakeholders in the country's development process. TIHSEPA's efforts aim to mobilise substantial support for the President's re-election bid, with Dr. Lokpobiri maintaining that another term would offer an opportunity to consolidate ongoing initiatives and improve healthcare delivery.

TIHSEPA's mobilisation activities will continue to expand across the federation, with Dr. Lokpobiri, also the wife of the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, reiterating the importance of healthcare professionals supporting the President's second-term ambition to enable the government to sustain its reform programmes.
