On Sunday, several important government decisions were made, which officially came into effect on Monday. In addition to a new decision from President Abdel Fattah Sisi, regarding the appointment of several state employees. These decisions include a presidential decree appointing new members to the diplomatic and consular corps. The presidential decree appoints 24 individuals to the position of ambassador of the excellent category. Additionally, 50 ministers plenipotentiary were appointed as ambassadors. The decree also appointed 47 counselors to the position of minister plenipotentiary. Furthermore, several first secretaries were appointed as counselors, and second secretaries were appointed as first secretaries. The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration is responsible for implementing the decree.

This decision applies the geographical distribution system to students who have obtained equivalent Egyptian, Arab, and foreign secondary certificates. These students are applying to the university admission office in Egypt, based on the student's place of residence in Egypt. This is according to the national ID card issued before June 1st of the application year.
The decision stipulates that starting from the end of the 2026/2027 academic year, students must meet all the necessary components and conditions. These conditions and qualifications are for admission to universities according to the educational system adopted in the country that issued the equivalent certificate. Additionally, starting from the end of the 2026/2027 academic year, only the actual detailed scores, without rounding or approximation, obtained by the student in the secondary certificate will be considered.
The Ministry of Agriculture has issued a decision regarding the Faqous government slaughterhouse for animals in Sharqia Governorate. The decision amends the ministerial decision regarding the Faqous government slaughterhouse from a manual to a semi-automatic slaughterhouse. This is under the technical and veterinary supervision of the General Authority for Veterinary Services, represented by the Veterinary Medicine Directorate in Sharqia Governorate.
The decision was made after the completion of the necessary procedures. These include obtaining a license from the Industrial Development Authority to operate a semi-automatic animal slaughterhouse and the approval of the Environmental Affairs Agency.
