Ally said he had been paid Sh360,000 after following up on his entitlements but was instructed to leave Karansi with his children and report to Dahani Secondary School. He questioned the transfer, citing a shortage of teachers in the subjects he taught, History and Kiswahili, at Karansi. Ally also claimed he was previously accused of discriminating against students based on their faith, which he denied. He expressed concerns about his safety at the new station.
Ally's wife, Halima Iddy, recounted the eviction, saying a group of about 15 people arrived at their home and removed their belongings. She said they were ordered to leave the house with their children while she was cooking. The family has been sleeping outside with their young children, a situation she said had affected them psychologically. Iddy appealed to the government to help them and follow its procedures.
Siha District Council acting director Alfredy Myombo said Ally was transferred to Dahani Secondary School, effective November 7, 2025. Myombo stated that Ally had not reported to his new station since then. He said the council had addressed Ally's entitlements and that he had no outstanding claims. Myombo explained that Ally was instructed to vacate the house at Karansi to make room for another teacher.
Myombo said Ally was given several opportunities to leave the house, initially seven days, then 14 days, but he did not comply. He stressed that Ally was no longer a teacher at Karansi Secondary School but was employed at Dahani Secondary School. Myombo's account contradicts Ally's, who claimed he was not given enough time to vacate the house.
Ally appealed to the government to urgently handle his transfer to Tanga, citing concerns about his safety at Dahani. He said his application for transfer was rejected due to a lack of vacancies.
