Tango Brook Technologies Limited, a Nigerian energy technology firm, has expanded its fuel management solution, Tango Fuel App, to five additional African countries. The company, which launched the app in September 2025, has introduced its services to Ghana, Sierra Leone, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), and Zimbabwe. The Tango Fuel App is an intelligent fuel and fleet management system designed to provide businesses with accountability over their energy spend. The app integrates payment cards with Tango Brook's innovative fuel tracking solution, giving companies real-time control over their energy expenditure. Since its launch, Tango Brook has won over 150 leading corporate clients, including Flour Mills of Nigeria (FMN), Seven-Up Bottling Company, and United Bank for Africa (UBA).
Tango Brook's rapid growth has been impressive, with wallet funding growing 12.4x, revenue growing 46.7x, app transactions growing 3.4x, and active transacting cards growing 3.4x between January and August 2026. The company has also achieved ISO 27001:2022 certification, demonstrating its commitment to global standards in information security, customer trust, and enterprise-grade governance.
Chairman of Tango Brook Technologies Limited, Peter Atuma, reflected on the firm's journey, highlighting the problem that the company aimed to solve. "Across emerging economies, organisations spend billions on petrol and diesel to power vehicles, generators and operations, yet rely on manual processes that create fraud, leakages and zero visibility," he said.
In response to customer pain points, Tango Brook expanded its services in 2026 with two critical modules: Tango Fleet Management and Tango GenVault. The Tango Fleet Management solution provides telematics and fleet intelligence for vehicle tracking, route optimisation, and operational visibility. Tango GenVault, on the other hand, tracks generator runtime, diesel consumption, refuelling events, and unusual consumption patterns.
The integration of these three products creates a connected ecosystem that combines digital payments, fleet management, generator monitoring, data analytics, and intelligent reporting. This gives finance and operations teams real-time control over every litre of fuel and every naira spent on energy.
