The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested three suspected armed robbers for attacking and dispossessing a motorcycle rider of his motorcycle at Bobini Village in Guyuk Local Government Area. The suspects, Mohammed Saleh, Suleiman Mohammadu and Ahmadu Damina, are all from Shani, a Local Government Area in neighbouring Borno State. They were arrested on September 26, 2026, after attacking and inflicting injuries on one Mr Abdu Buba of Bobini Village, Guyuk LGA.
According to the police, the suspects are members of a syndicate specialising in attacking and robbing people of their motorcycles and other valuables. Preliminary investigation revealed that the syndicate had been terrorising the Guyuk axis, targeting motorcycle riders and other villagers.
