The EZ 3 and EZ 3 Pro smartphones are designed to cater to the needs of first-time buyers, students, online traders, and taxi-moto drivers. The devices offer various features such as WhatsApp, video streaming, and mobile money services. According to Aristide Azumah, Country Director of Sun King Togo, "Buying and using a phone today should not be a financial burden."
The EZ 3 model comes with an HD+ 120 Hz screen, 4 Go of RAM, and an octa-core UNISOC T7250 processor. It also features 64 Go of storage, expandable up to 1 To, a 13 MP rear camera, and a 5 MP front camera. The device's 5,000 mAh battery is designed to last a full day, and it has a fingerprint lock for added security.
The EZ 3 Pro model offers upgraded features, including a 50 MP primary camera, a 6,000 mAh battery with 18 W fast charging, 6 Go of RAM, and 128 Go of storage. This model is available for purchase starting from 471 FCFA per day, with an initial deposit of 12,000 FCFA. Both devices come with a 12-month warranty and accessories such as a charging cable, adapter, screen protector, and headphones.
Sun King aims to leverage its existing presence in the Togolese market, where around 10% of the population has access to its solar energy solutions. By combining energy and connectivity, the company seeks to empower its customers to communicate with their families, increase their income, and access education and services.
