The murals project is part of a broader effort to restore Khartoum's urban landscape. During his tour, Engineer Saber inspected the ongoing maintenance work on the city's drainage systems and roads. He visited the Muhammad Najib Street in Khartoum municipality, where road maintenance and drainage system upgrades are underway. The Director-General also evaluated the ongoing construction work at the intersection of the Municipal Street and Mek Nimr Street.

Engineer Saber directed the relevant authorities to conduct studies aimed at ensuring efficient stormwater drainage and smooth traffic flow in the area. This move is part of a broader effort to address traffic congestion and improve the state's road infrastructure. The authority is working to complete the remaining work within the set timeline.

In Karrari municipality, Engineer Saber inspected the ongoing maintenance work on the Doshinab Bridge on the Western Nile Road. He commended the progress made so far and emphasized that work is progressing at a fast pace to complete the remaining tasks. The Director-General also instructed the start of removal of the deteriorated asphalt layers to pave the way for the rehabilitation of the eastern lane of the Kadro Street.

The authority is working tirelessly to restore and develop the state's road network and drainage systems. Engineer Saber stressed that the authority is committed to delivering high-quality services and infrastructure, which would enhance the urban landscape of Khartoum and improve the lives of its citizens.
