The Sudanese Ministry of Health in Khartoum state has prioritized reviving medical services at Al-Rabbat Teaching Hospital and enhancing its role in medical training and rehabilitation. According to Khartoum state's Health Minister, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Badri, the ministry is committed to providing necessary support to restore the hospital's services and promote its role as a medical training and rehabilitation center.
Dr. Al-Badri recently visited Al-Rabbat Teaching Hospital to assess its current situation and identify needs. During the visit, he emphasized the hospital's importance in training university students and qualifying health cadres. The minister assured that the ministry will coordinate with hospital management to provide required supplies and support to ensure stable and continuous medical services.
The hospital's Medical Services Director, Major General Dr. Tariq Hassan Ali, expects Al-Rabbat Hospital to regain its role as one of the largest centers for training university students. He noted that the hospital's management comprises 16 centers in several states, in addition to health centers and clinics affiliated with Khartoum state's police units.
