The Ministry of Education and National Training in Sudan has announced the opening of an additional window to extract high school certificates in Omdurman, starting next week. This move aims to reduce congestion and pressure on students and their families. The decision was made to complement the existing center for managing Sudan's exams in Khartoum.

According to Dr. Ahmed Khalifa Omar, Deputy Minister of Education, the ministry has made several arrangements to facilitate the procedures for obtaining high school certificates. The ministry is coordinating with the states of River Nile, Gezira, Red Sea, and White Nile to deliver application forms to their representatives. This allows students to complete their procedures in their respective states without having to travel to Khartoum.

The ministry's efforts focus on alleviating the burden on students and their families while ensuring they can obtain their high school certificates easily. Dr. Omar emphasized that these steps are part of the ministry's commitment to facilitating the process. The additional window is expected to streamline the application process and reduce the number of students traveling to Khartoum.

Regarding admission to higher education institutions and government universities, Dr. Omar assured students and their families that the ministry has provided the Admission Management Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research with all the necessary data on the 2026 high school certificate results. This enables students to apply directly to universities and higher education institutions without needing to obtain their certificates immediately.

Dr. Omar clarified that obtaining certificates at this stage is primarily important for students planning to apply to higher education institutions and universities outside Sudan. He confirmed that the ministry will continue to take necessary measures to alleviate students' and their families' hardships.

The Deputy Minister congratulated students, their families, and wished them continued success in their educational journey. The ministry's efforts aim to ensure a smooth transition for students moving from high school to higher education.

By providing an additional window for certificate extraction and coordinating with various states, the Ministry of Education and National Training demonstrates its commitment to improving the educational experience for Sudanese students. The move is expected to positively impact the lives of many students and their families across the country.
