The Sudanese government has presented evidence of drone attacks launched from Ethiopian territory, targeting civilian infrastructure and power plants in several states. A joint press conference by the Ministries of Defense, Foreign Affairs, and Culture and Information, along with the General Intelligence Service, showcased the drones and their launch sites. The attacks, according to the government, aim to disrupt the voluntary return of citizens to their areas.

The exhibited drones, of various models, were downed by Sudanese defense forces in different locations over the past period. The government provided a detailed presentation of the drones' launch sites, trajectories, and targets, as well as the resulting damage. Analysis of the drones' data, using modern software, revealed that their launch coordinates point to locations within Ethiopian territory, including Bahir Dar airport.

Satellite imagery was also presented as additional evidence supporting these findings. The government stated that the attacks targeted civilian infrastructure, aiming to hinder the voluntary return of citizens to their areas. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation expressed concern over the continued aggression by Ethiopia, despite good relations between the two nations.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Maawia Osman Khaled, urged the international community not to overlook what he termed as Ethiopian-Emirati aggression against Sudan. He called on international justice institutions to take steps to stop the attacks. Khaled emphasized Sudan's right to protect its territory and inform the international community about developments.

Ambassador Khaled accused the Ethiopian government and the United Arab Emirates of supporting and backing the drone attacks. He stated that Sudan faces drone attacks launched from Ethiopian territory, aiming to disrupt civilian life. The Sudanese government aims to expel what it describes as terrorist militias, receiving support from regional and international countries.

The government emphasized its capability to protect the country, stressing continued efforts to safeguard its territory and inform the international community about the aggression. Sudan's strategy involves two main tracks: protecting its territory and exposing the attacks to the international community. The government vowed to continue taking measures to defend its sovereignty.

The incident has raised concerns over regional security and international relations. Sudan's accusations against Ethiopia and the UAE have sparked diplomatic tensions. The international community is expected to take a stance on the issue, with Sudan calling for action to stop the aggression. The situation remains a pressing concern for regional stability.
