In a bid to support scientific and practical activities, Delta Technological University organized a field trip for students from the Mechatronics Technology program to the Egyptian Space Agency (EgSA). The visit, which took place on October 3, 2026, was supervised by Dr. Wajeh Ahmed Al-Askari, the university's president, and accompanied by Engineer Abdel Qader Emad. The trip aimed to introduce students to the latest applications and technologies in the field of space and satellites.

The visit was carried out under the supervision of Dr. Ashraf Al-Sisi, the university's vice president, Dr. Ahmed Al-Sawi, dean of the College of Industry and Energy Technology, Dr. Hamdi Qotb, the college's deputy for training and services, Dr. Hisham Azzazi, head of the Mechatronics Technology program, and Dr. Abdel Aziz Ismail, supervisor of the New and Renewable Energy Technology program. The students were given a scientific tour and a briefing on satellite communication systems and their importance.
