Stanbic Bank Uganda Limited, owned by Standard Bank Group Limited, is seeking a skilled Analyst to join its Enterprise Banking team in Kampala, Uganda. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day administration of the portfolio, client servicing, sales, operations, and credit management. The Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that client requests are fulfilled efficiently, portfolio risks are actively managed, and all regulatory and compliance requirements are met. This includes managing and resolving client queries, service requests, and complaints within agreed turnaround times. The ideal candidate will have a first degree in Business Commerce or a related discipline from a recognized institute and at least four years of relevant banking experience.
The successful candidate will support Relationship Managers in achieving portfolio growth, sales, revenue, and client-service targets. They will identify, capture, and refer sales opportunities and maintain accurate pipeline and client information. The Analyst will also analyze financial information and support the preparation of high-quality credit applications. Strong analytical ability and sound interpretation of financial and portfolio data are essential for this role.
The Analyst will monitor excesses, credit limits, annual reviews, and conditions of approval to maintain a healthy portfolio. They will coordinate with internal product, credit, and support teams to deliver seamless client solutions and complete account-opening and portfolio-maintenance activities accurately and on time. The role requires good knowledge of business banking products, account-opening processes, and product-related systems.
