The successful candidate will be responsible for providing proactive business banking sales and service management to retain and grow portfolios of Chinese SME customers. The Banker Business role involves conducting needs analyses for business customers and matching them with suitable business banking solutions. The successful candidate will also serve as a point of contact for customer queries, drive the use of alternative self-service banking channels, and ensure customer retention through onboarding processes and relationship management. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for notifying customers about the approval or decline of credit loan facilities and keeping them informed throughout the process.
To qualify for the position, applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in a business-related course from a recognized university and have at least three years of sales experience in branch banking and relationship management. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of customer experience solutioning, sound knowledge of the bank's policies and procedures, and a good understanding of risk management and credit principles. They should also possess excellent communication and team-working skills.
The successful candidate will be required to develop and execute a sales activity plan and client calling schedule in line with the Customer Value Proposition. They will also need to drive sustainable profitability for the portfolio as per set sales budget and cross-sell business banking products to existing customers.
