The Somali Regional Education Bureau has announced an invitation for local competitive bidders to provide consultancy services for two projects. The projects include the supervision consultancy service for the construction maintenance of Jigjiga Boarding School Fence, with reference number SREB/NCB/RC/ENG/0018/2019, and the supervision consultancy service for the construction maintenance of upgrading Jeedane Temporary Learning space to a permanent school, with reference number SREB/NCB/RC/ENG/0019/2019.
Interested bidders can obtain the bid document from the Somali Regional Education Bureau's Procurement and Property Directorate, located on the ground floor. The bid document can also be accessed online from https://REB.gov.et against payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 500.00 for each of the above works. The payment should be made to the finance department of the Somali Regional State Education Bureau.
To collect the bid document, bidders must present a copy of their renewed Trade License 2019, Tax Clearance Certificate, and VAT Registration Certificate. Additionally, bidders who do not have any poor performance history on previous Bureau projects can participate in this bid. Bidders must also provide their direct line phone number, cell phone number, fax number, and e-mail address of their organization correctly while collecting bid documents.
The bid proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond/Earnest Money Deposit of 2% of the item contract in the form of an unconditional Bank Guarantee or Cash Payment Order. Bids must be deposited in the tender box prepared for this purpose at the Somali Regional Education Bureau's logistics department during office hours before 2:00 pm. The bid opening will be held on October 29, 2026, at 2:30 pm in the presence of bidders and/or their legal agents who wish to attend.
