Sodic East, a major project developed by Sodic, a prominent real estate company in Egypt, is witnessing rapid progress in its construction, delivery, and operation. The project spans 655 acres and features a comprehensive community with residential, commercial, sports, and service components. To date, 1,475 units have been delivered within eight neighborhoods, reflecting the project's steady growth.
The project's progress is evident in the completion of five neighborhoods: Ivy, Jade, Gardenia, Azailya, and Camellia. Additionally, the Orchid neighborhood is nearly complete, with 99% of its work finished. The Oak neighborhood has seen 65% of its units reach completion, with plans for handover in the fourth quarter of 2026. Other units in the Oak neighborhood are 35% complete, with expected delivery in the fourth quarter of 2027.
The Amberwood neighborhood is currently under development, with 15% of its work completed and planned delivery in the fourth quarter of 2027. The project's phased development approach allows for the simultaneous construction of different neighborhoods and components. This strategy enables the company to hand over units and operate services while continuing work on other areas.
The first phase of Sodic's sports club, spanning 40 acres, has commenced operations and started receiving members. This addition enhances the community's lifestyle and social aspects. The sports club is part of Sodic's plan to develop service components in parallel with the growth of the residential community.
In terms of commercial components, the first phase of the commercial area is 70% complete. This area will provide a range of services and activities to meet the needs of Sodic East residents. The commercial area is crucial, given the growing number of delivered units and operational components.
Sodic East's master plan includes green spaces, open areas, and an international school. These features will expand the range of services available to residents and enhance the project's urban planning. The project's current status reflects Sodic's phased development approach, with completed neighborhoods operating alongside areas still under construction.
Sodic has launched a new phase, "The Lakes," offering a variety of apartments with different sizes and designs, ranging from one to four rooms. The units come with complete finishes and flexible payment plans of up to 10 years with no down payment. Ayman Amer, Sodic's General Manager, stated that Sodic East exemplifies the company's vision for developing integrated communities that go beyond providing residential units.
