The Société Nouvelle Compagnie Industrielle de Transformation et d'Exploitation des Cultures Oléagineuses (SN CITEC) has issued a call for expressions of interest to preselect qualified transporters for its 2026-2027 campaign. The campaign involves transporting cottonseed from SOFITEX's ginning plants to SN CITEC's reception sites in Bobo-Dioulasso, as well as international transportation of palm fatty acids from partner plants in Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana.
The call for expressions of interest is divided into two lots. Interested transporters can apply for one or both lots. The selection process is not an open tender, but rather a preselection aimed at establishing a shortlist of transporters who will be invited to submit bids in a subsequent restricted consultation. To apply, transporters must submit a dossier including a letter of interest, company presentation documents, valid tax and social situation attestations, a list of truck fleet characteristics, similar references from the past three years, and dedicated human resources.
The preselection criteria include the capacity and condition of the truck fleet (30%), relevant experience (25%), financial capacity and administrative situation (20%), geographical coverage and inter-state transit capacity (15%), and human resources and organization (10%). The dossiers must be submitted in French, in a sealed envelope, to the General Directorate's secretariat by October 15, 2026, at 16:00.
The SN CITEC reserves the right to not proceed with the call, modify or cancel it, without possible compensation for candidates.
