Additionally, it will feature an Intensive Care Unit, an In Vitro Fertilisation and Assisted Reproductive Technology Centre, antenatal and postnatal clinics, fertility and reproductive health clinics, and an Emergency Obstetric Care Unit.
The new maternity block will also include a Diagnostic Imaging Department, laboratory and blood bank facilities, a Pharmacy Department, a Central Sterile Services Department, physiotherapy and rehabilitation units, and teaching, research, and conference facilities. These additions are expected to significantly enhance Korle Bu's capacity to provide advanced maternal, reproductive, and neonatal healthcare.
