Sino Africa Development Company Limited has issued a public notice calling on individuals who developed portions of the disputed land at Borteyman in the Greater Accra Region to submit their title documents for review. This follows a Supreme Court judgment delivered on June 3, 2026, in the company's favour. The notice, dated October 8, 2026, requests persons who acquired interests in the disputed property before June 3, 2026, and subsequently developed their portions to contact the company or its legal representatives within 30 days.

The dispute concerns two parcels of land at Borteyman, also known as Nungua Farms, with a combined area of approximately 328.877 acres. The Supreme Court's judgment overturned the majority decision of the Court of Appeal delivered on March 27, 2025. The court entered judgment in favour of Sino Africa in respect of the disputed land, subject to the interests and possessory rights of Royal Bell Investments Limited and Terraform Development Limited.

According to the public notice, Sino Africa's entitlement to recover possession of the land remains subject to the rights recognised in favour of Royal Bell Investments Limited and Terraform Development Limited. The other defendants identified in the dispute include Nii Adzogah Annang Laryea, Nii Odaifio Mensah, Nii Asafoatse Okum Agyemang II, Richard Nii Alabi Bortey, and Benjamin Borketey Borteye Seysey.

The Supreme Court also imposed a continuing restraint on the remaining defendants and persons claiming through them from interfering with the portion of the property over which Sino Africa was declared the legal title holder. This means that individuals who engage in transactions with the named defendants or persons claiming through them may do so at their own risk.

Existing developers who acquired interests before June 3, 2026, have been asked to provide copies of their title documents when contacting the company or its solicitors. Sino Africa has made a certified true copy of the Supreme Court judgment and a site plan of the affected property available for inspection at the offices of its solicitors during normal working hours.

The notice is directed both at prospective purchasers and individuals who already have developments on portions of the disputed property. The latter are being given an opportunity to establish the nature and status of their interests following the Supreme Court decision. Sino Africa has cautioned the public against purchasing, leasing, accepting grants of, or otherwise dealing in the affected land through the named defendants or persons claiming through them.

Individuals who engage in such transactions after the date of the notice would do so with knowledge of the Supreme Court decision and entirely at their own risk. The company's request for developers to submit their title documents aims to clarify how the Supreme Court's judgment affects previous acquisitions and existing developments.
