This role is crucial in ensuring the country's ability to respond to and manage cyber incidents effectively. The specialist will play a key role in protecting Sierra Leone's digital infrastructure.
The Associate Analyst will support the monitoring and analysis of cybersecurity systems and incidents. Responsibilities will include monitoring security alerts and events, maintaining cybersecurity incident logs, and monitoring firewalls and intrusion detection systems. The successful applicant will also conduct risk assessments and support the preparation and publication of security advisories.
The Associate Analyst will assist with the escalation and remediation of cybersecurity incidents, as well as risk, vulnerability, and penetration assessments. The position similarly requires 24/7 on-call availability. This role is essential in identifying and mitigating potential cyber threats to the country's digital systems.
