Police in South Africa have arrested seven suspects in connection with alleged fraud, corruption, theft, and money laundering involving the Maruleng Local Municipality in Phalaborwa. The suspects are expected to appear in the Hoedspruit Magistrate's Court on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
