El Hadji Mamour Ndiogou BA received his Islamic education in Nioro from Tafsir Abdoulaye Noumbé BA, a former cadi during the colonial period. He was also a trained teacher and had worked as a supervising general at Blaise Diagne High School in Dakar. Additionally, he served as the spokesperson for the BA family of Nioro du Rip for several years, utilizing his historical knowledge and communication skills to effectively carry out this role.
During his tenure as Khalife, El Hadji Mamour Ndiogou BA oversaw the inauguration of the Tafsir Maba Diakhou BA Islamic Institute in Nioro in 2025. He was also involved in the preparations for the construction of an esplanade in Fandane, Sine, where the Almamy Maba is buried, as well as the publication of a book dedicated to this historical figure. His efforts aimed to promote the cultural and religious heritage of the region.
El Hadji Mamour Ndiogou BA was widely respected for his charitable works and his close relationships with various religious families in the Nioro department, including those in Porokhane, Darou Salam Nioro, Touba Saloum, and Taiba Niassène. El Hadji Mamour Ndiogou BA is survived by his wife, Ndèye Fatou Diouf, a member of the royal court of Sine and a descendant of the Buur Sine. He also maintained close ties with the current King of Sine, Niokhobaye Diouf Fatou Diène.
