Minister Habimana awarded the district an accolade for its excellent service delivery, recognizing the efforts made by the local leadership.
Despite progress, citizens and local leaders highlighted challenges hindering efficient service delivery, including technical issues with technology and delayed delivery of essential services such as fertilizers and seeds. Minister Habimana acknowledged these concerns and promised to address them to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
The National Service Week, themed "Quality Service is a Pillar of Good Governance," will run from September 23 to 28, 2026. The event aims to promote good governance, enhance service delivery, and engage citizens in the monitoring and evaluation of public services.
