Nigerian journalist and media professional, Rita Okoye, has emerged as the Best Creative Entertainment Writer of the Year at the 2026 Top Society Magazine Awards. The award was presented at a ceremony held at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos. Other award recipients included Pastor Anthony Obinna-Ibe, PhD, Pastor in Charge of Province, RCCG YP 7, who received the Transformational Leadership Award, and Pastor Olufemi Oyetund, National Youth Pastor, RCCG, who represented Pastor (Dr.) Babasola Olukoya, PhD, recipient of the Outstanding Youth Development Icon of the Year award. Otunba Layi Taylor also represented His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. Adekunle Adeayo Adeagbo.
