Governor Uba Sani's administration has been praised by religious leaders for its commitment to fairness and justice for all citizens. The Governor's inclusive leadership style, which emphasizes even development across Kaduna State, was highlighted at a Special Interfaith Dialogue held at the Brigadier Abba Kyari Banquet Hall on Monday. The event, organized by the Kaduna State Bureau of Interfaith, brought together Muslim and Christian clerics who commended the Governor for leading the state in a spirit of unity and cooperation.

The religious leaders noted that Kaduna State has enjoyed relative peace and harmony since Governor Uba Sani assumed office over three years ago. They attributed this to the Governor's governance philosophy, which prioritizes justice and fairness for all citizens. The speakers at the event canvassed for the Governor's re-election, citing his achievements in promoting peaceful coexistence between Muslims and Christians in the state.

Governor Uba Sani recalled that when he took office in 2023, he promised to run an inclusive government that would win the hearts and minds of all citizens. He emphasized that his model of governance is simple and based on justice, bringing everyone to the table. The Governor noted that he inherited a state that was highly toxic and divided, but his administration has worked to restore the glory of Kaduna State.

The Governor highlighted some of the challenges he faced when he took office, including the allocation of land to some individuals who refused to build on it due to their faiths. He described this as unacceptable and emphasized that Kaduna State should be a model for others to copy in Nigeria. Governor Uba Sani reiterated that he took an oath of office to be fair to everyone, irrespective of their ethno-religious affiliations.

Rev Caleb Ma'aji, Chairman of the Kaduna State Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), praised the Governor for his achievements in the state. He recalled that the Governor had attended the Christmas Carol on December 22, 2024, where he requested three main road projects on behalf of his people. Rev Ma'aji expressed gratitude that two of the roads have been completed, and the third one is almost completed.

Other speakers at the event, including Prof Khalid Aliyu, Secretary General of Jamaátul Nasir Islam, and Sheikh Haliru Maraya, enumerated the achievements of the Governor Uba Sani administration. These include the slashing of tuition fees in all Kaduna State-owned tertiary institutions, increased access to education, and improved security in the state. The speakers described the Governor as a peacemaker who has brought development to Kaduna State.

The event, which coincided with the International Day of Peace, was themed "An Overview of the Impactful Three Years of Peaceful Coexistence and Inclusivity In Kaduna State: Unveiling The Secret".
