Sizakele Mlangeni, another resident, said that the project has brought light to their lives. She stated that they used to fetch water from contaminated sources, which was a health risk. Busisiwe Mkhwanazi, a resident of Mission ward 6, said that the project has made a significant difference in her life. She stated that they used to struggle to get water, especially during times of drought. Mkhwanazi added that the water tankers that used to deliver water to the area were not reliable and often came only once a week.
