EAMVL has posted a job advertisement for a Quality Management Systems (QMS) Engineer to oversee the implementation and maintenance of Integrated Management Systems (IMS) requirements in the manufacturing process.

The QMS Engineer will be responsible for ensuring full compliance of manufacturing activities with IMS requirements, focusing on documentation, compliance assurance, audit coordination, risk management, and continuous improvement. The engineer will ensure that manufacturing operations align with ISO standards, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), regulatory, and internal governance frameworks. This includes implementing and maintaining IMS requirements related to manufacturing activities in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.

Key duties and responsibilities of the QMS Engineer include controlling and maintaining IMS documentation, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and maintenance-related procedures. The engineer will also coordinate and support internal and external audits, prepare manufacturing teams for audits and inspections, and track and document non-conformances, observations, and Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).

The QMS Engineer will support identification and mitigation of engineering-related risks, including equipment safety, utility systems, and chemical handling systems. The engineer will also promote safe work practices within engineering operations and support environmental compliance activities related to manufacturing systems, such as wastewater treatment and emissions control.

The ideal candidate for the QMS Engineer position should have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and experience in quality management systems, preferably in the medical manufacturing industry. The engineer should possess excellent documentation and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
