Popular Kikuyu comedian Bryan Muiruri, known to fans as Kufai, has officially tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Lucy Muthoni. The church wedding was held at Deliverance Church in Naivasha on Saturday, October 31, 2026. The couple exchanged vows before a large congregation of guests. The celebrations extended into the evening at Derby Place in Naivasha, where family, friends, and fellow entertainers joined in the festivities with food, music, and dancing.

The Naivasha church wedding was not the couple's first major milestone together. In June 2026, Kufai and Lucy had already sealed their union through a traditional Kikuyu dowry ceremony, commonly known as Ruracio. The traditional ceremony was held at Kufai's rural home. For that occasion, the pair wore coordinated brown-and-white cowhide-patterned outfits. Their church ceremony followed approximately four months later.

At the church, Kufai cut a sharp figure in a white wedding suit with black lapels and a black bow tie. Lucy walked down the aisle escorted by her parents, dressed in a flowing white gown, a matching veil, and carrying a large bouquet. The groomsmen complemented the theme in cream suits paired with maroon ties. The wedding drew a notable crowd from Kenya's entertainment scene.

Several entertainment personalities attended the celebrations, including Samidoh, Mbote Njogu, and Karangu Muraya. Samidoh had already shown his support at the Ruracio, where he performed for guests. Comedian Mbote Njogu entertained the crowd during the traditional ceremony and returned for the church wedding, this time as part of the bridal team.

Philanthropist and content creator Karangu Muraya took on a personal role by driving the bride's car as the newlyweds made their way to the reception. Gospel singer Ruth Wa Mum and content creator Dada Sarah were also among the familiar faces who showed up to celebrate the couple.

Kenyans online were equally enthusiastic about the union, with many flocking to the comment sections to share their warmth. Fans congratulated the couple, with some commenting on Lucy's wedding gown, which they described as "lit" and "gowning." Others expressed their well-wishes for the couple's future together.

The wedding comes after a series of high-profile celebrity weddings in Kenya. TUKO.co.ke also highlighted facts about Charles Keter’s daughter Tracy, who married Robin Bett in a colourful ceremony attended by prominent politicians. The entertainment industry has been abuzz with wedding celebrations, with fans and fellow celebrities showing their support for the newlyweds.
