The Local Unit Commander of the Mano River Union Division, Superintendent Solomon S. Conteh, has called on Community Safety Volunteers in Makpele Chiefdom to uphold strict discipline, integrity, and professionalism. This was during a visit to Zimmi, where he met with volunteers, chiefdom authorities, and representatives from the Office of National Security and Local Policing Partnership Board. Conteh emphasized the crucial role of volunteer security groups in maintaining local order.

Superintendent Conteh's visit aimed to strengthen security across the chiefdom. He stressed the need for a comprehensive database of Community Safety Volunteers, improved record-keeping, and regular training to enhance operational effectiveness. The engagement concluded with a joint pledge from security stakeholders, community leaders, and Community Safety Volunteers to strengthen communication, accountability, and multi-agency collaboration to ensure long-term peace and stability in Makpele Chiefdom.
