The Ghana Police Service has arrested three individuals in connection with the alleged abduction of Ayuba Sumiya Mawudu, alias Haruna, at Dobini Bunban near Yendi in the Northern Region. The suspects, Mahumudu Abdulai, 32, Ganiu Sumaila, 32, and Abdulai Salam, 28, were arrested on September 29, 2026, at separate locations in Sang in the Mion District.
