The Public Prosecutor of the Siguiri Court of First Instance, Dominique Loua, urged the population to prioritize licensed pharmacies when purchasing medications. He warned that medications can be hazardous when handled by unqualified individuals and emphasized the importance of considering the advice and follow-up provided by professionals.
The prosecutor also called on defense and security forces, as well as customs services, to strengthen their vigilance to combat the introduction and circulation of counterfeit medications in the prefecture. Participants at the event stressed the consequences of irrational use of medications and the need for sustained awareness efforts.
