The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement has launched its Taraba State structure in a bid to galvanize support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice-President Kashim Shettima ahead of the 2027 general elections. The inauguration ceremony, held in Jalingo, was attended by prominent figures including Taraba state governor, Dr Agbu Kefas, and founder of the movement, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo. The event marked a significant milestone in the movement's efforts to mobilize grassroots support for the Tinubu-Shettima campaign.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Governor Kefas expressed Taraba's readiness to mobilize support for President Tinubu's re-election in 2027. He noted that his administration is implementing the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Tinubu administration through various development projects and programmes across the state. This, he believes, will help to consolidate the gains made so far and ensure a brighter future for the people of Taraba.

Representing the founder of the movement, Kestop Pondi, urged Taraba residents to support President Tinubu's re-election, citing the need for continuity to allow the administration to consolidate its economic reforms and development programmes. Pondi emphasized that government policies require time to achieve lasting results and encouraged members of the movement to extend their mobilisation activities to communities, households, churches, and mosques across the state.

The National Coordinator of the PBAT movement, Comrade Adekanbi Sunday Asuku, also called on Taraba residents to sustain their support for the APC. He attributed improvements in security and education to policies implemented by the Tinubu and Kefas administrations and urged members to intensify grassroots mobilisation ahead of the elections. Asuku's remarks were echoed by the Director-General of the Tinubu-Shettima campaign structure in Taraba, Danladi Baido.

Danladi Baido assured the party leadership that the campaign team would mobilise support for APC candidates at all levels in the 2027 elections. He expressed confidence in the party's ability to win the elections, citing the impressive performance of the Tinubu administration. Baido's statement was corroborated by the Taraba State APC Chairman, Abubakar Bawa, who pledged the party's commitment to mobilising support for its candidates during the elections.

The inauguration of the Taraba State structure is expected to strengthen the movement's presence at the grassroots and enhance its engagement with communities across the state. The organisers believe that this will help to galvanize support for the Tinubu-Shettima campaign and ensure a landslide victory in the 2027 elections. The PBAT movement has been making steady progress in its efforts to mobilize support for the APC.
