The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement has initiated its grassroots mobilisation campaign in Taraba State, calling on residents to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election in the January 2027 presidential election. According to the movement's Grand Patron, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, the President's reforms require more time to consolidate and deliver greater benefits to Nigerians. Tompolo, represented by High Chief Kestin Pondi, emphasized that Taraba is benefiting from the policies of the Tinubu administration.

Tompolo stressed that continuity is necessary to sustain the gains recorded so far, citing the state's thriving condition due to the President's good reformation policies. He noted that another term for President Tinubu would ensure that civil servants continue to receive their salaries as at when due, while Governor Agbu Kefas would have more time to develop the state. Tompolo also acknowledged that reforms come with challenges but require time to produce their full benefits.

The movement's National Coordinator, Sunday Asuku, stated that the group is in Taraba to extend its message of support for President Tinubu and Governor Kefas. Asuku argued that abandoning the reforms of the Tinubu administration would be counterproductive and commended Kefas for the achievements recorded in Taraba over the past three years. The event saw a massive turnout, reflecting grassroots support for the governor.

Governor Agbu Kefas expressed his administration's commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu, stating that the state would continue to work with the Federal Government on development projects. Kefas said the people of Taraba are already witnessing the impact of the Tinubu administration through projects being implemented in the state. He pledged massive support for Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, assuring that the state would turn out en masse to give the President 100 percent votes.

The event featured the donation of 25 campaign vehicles, generators, and electronic speakers for grassroots mobilisation. The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement urged supporters to take the campaign to every level of society, including homes, religious centres, wards, local government areas, and polling units. The movement aims to mobilise support for President Tinubu's re-election across the state.

Tompolo attributed the reduction in challenges previously experienced by Nigerians, such as fuel queues and disruptions in university education, to the policies of the Tinubu administration. He encouraged supporters to bear the current challenges, assuring that they would eventually pass and give way to a smoother ride. The movement's campaign in Taraba is part of its efforts to galvanise support for President Tinubu's re-election.

The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement's campaign in Taraba State has gained significant momentum, with Governor Kefas and other stakeholders expressing their commitment to supporting President Tinubu's re-election.
