Residents of Komu, Babaode, and Igbojaye communities in Itesiwaju Local Government Area of Oyo have been without electricity for six years. Oguntona explained that welders, barbers, tailors, and cold-room operators have either shut down or relocated their businesses to areas with electricity. They appealed to Governor Makinde, the Minister of Power, Joseph Tegbe, and IBEDC to intervene and restore electricity to the affected communities before the end of the year.
