German automaker Opel has unveiled its latest concept car, the Sports Tourer eXperimental Concept, or STX Concept, ahead of its global debut at the Paris Motor Show. The Astra Sports Tourer is known for its practicality, flexibility, and modern technologies, with a boot space of up to 1,634 liters and a design that features Opel's iconic Blitz logo and Vizor front end.
According to Florian Huettl, Opel's CEO, the STX Concept will showcase the company's vision for the future of station wagons, with a focus on aerodynamic efficiency and a new design language for the next generation of Opel models. The STX Concept will be displayed on stand A42 in hall 4 at the Paris Motor Show, alongside the Opel GSE 27FE, a racing car developed for the 2026/27 Formula E season. The Opel GSE 27FE is based on the fourth-generation GEN4 platform and features all-wheel drive, a power output of over 800 horsepower, and a regenerative energy capacity of up to 700 kW.
