The Omenaa Foundation has officially opened its flagship Sport & Art Campus in Tema, Ghana, on October 31. The campus is a landmark project that brings together sport, education, healthcare, contemporary art, and international creative residencies. The project is rooted in the theme "From Philanthropy to Partnership. From Opportunity to Empowerment." Ghanaian-Polish entrepreneur and philanthropist Omenaa Mensah opened the campus, drawing on her Ghanaian heritage and over 12 years of philanthropic work.

The multidisciplinary campus is designed to nurture young talent and serve local communities, while also welcoming European business leaders to create opportunities for cross-continental partnerships and investment. The campus is part of Mensah's "Building Bridges" strategy, which aims to connect African creativity with international networks. According to the Foundation, the Campus is a place of mutual inspiration where artists, athletes, volunteers, entrepreneurs, and international guests share knowledge and experience.

On November 1, the campus opened its spaces to children, young people, and residents of surrounding neighborhoods during a Community Open Day. The project is a key milestone in the Foundation's 2026-2030 strategy, "Building Bridges," with Ghana serving as its main African hub. The campus comprises three main areas: Gym Center, Community Center, and Art Residence. The Community Center includes the Doctors Rooms medical clinic, PHENOMENAA CAFE, and TOP CHARITY Creative Lab.

Sport plays a central role in the campus, with the Gym Center featuring professional equipment, separate changing rooms, and a physiotherapy room. The gym aims to teach perseverance, teamwork, and resilience. Ambassadors of the campus include former NBA player Pops Mensah-Bonsu, fitness expert Ewa Chodakowska, and Łukasz Dojka. During the Grand Opening, children played a match alongside football legends Asamoah Gyan, Stephen Appiah, and Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, joined by Polish sports stars Marcin Gortat and Radosław Majdan.

Art is also a key pillar of the campus, with the inauguration of Omenaa's Museum of Ghanaian-Polish Relation and its first exhibition, "Common Ground." The exhibition explores memory, identity, and cooperation, featuring works by artists from Poland, Ghana, and across Africa. The sculpture garden features a 4.5-metre sculpture titled "Meteoron" created by Polish sculptor Tomasz Koclęga and Ghanaian artist Nicholas Ofori.

Health is another key pillar of the campus, with the Doctors Rooms providing free paediatric care, diagnostics, eye examinations, and health education. The clinic will serve children from Kids Haven, other care facilities, deaf and hard-of-hearing children in Tema, and the wider community. The campus is expected to join Ghana's national vaccination programme. Vanessa Mensah, Medical Projects Lead, said, "Sport and art give children wings, but health matters most to us."

The opening of the campus was made possible by business partners including Xtreme Brands, ASTON, DDB Design & Build, Toyota, and BC ARMS. The Foundation has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation to collaborate on environmental solutions, heritage restoration, and education in Kumasi and the wider Asante Kingdom. Omenaa Mensah said, "I am a woman of two worlds. Poland gave me education and opportunities. But Africa is my heart, my soul and my DNA. Omenaa Sport & Art Campus is the fulfilment of that dream."
