The Unity High School Ago-Ika, Abeokuta Old Students Association, also known as UNISOSA, has launched its national executive officers. The inauguration, held recently, marked a new chapter in the history of the alumni association. Kabiru Odusiji, the pioneer National President, pledged to prioritize infrastructural development, student and teacher welfare, and organizational consolidation. Odusiji, a former Secretary to Abeokuta North Local Government, graduated from the school in 1992.
Odusiji expressed his gratitude to members for electing him as their leader, describing it as an honor and a call to service. He emphasized the importance of alumni involvement in advancing education, stating that the government cannot shoulder school development alone. Odusiji encouraged old students to support the government by undertaking small projects to assist the school. He also highlighted the need for support to extend to teachers, who require teaching aids, financial support, and better facilities.
The UNISOSA president outlined his administration's four-point focus on improving school infrastructure, assisting students, supporting teachers, and consolidating UNISOSA. Several planned interventions were highlighted, including providing chairs, pencils, books, and stationery to students. The association also plans to provide tables and chairs for teachers in the classroom and staff room. Odusiji appealed to members for moral and financial support, promising accountability.

The Board of Trustees member expressed confidence in the ability of the new executives to deliver. The inauguration event marked a significant milestone in the history of UNISOSA.
