Okolo is also the President of the Jim Mezie Foundation, which focuses on community empowerment and youth development. He is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Jimez Petroleum Resources Ltd and Chairman of the Governing Council of Bridget University, Mbaise. Additionally, he serves as Chief of Eleme Kingdom in Rivers State, a title conferred on him by HRH John Adimkpa Nkpe.
