The National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) has sworn-in 2,101 corps members of the 2026 Batch C Stream deployed to Enugu State for the one-year mandatory national service. According to Mrs Awolola, the corps members comprised 983 males and 1,118 females. She applauded Enugu State Government for its support and assistance to the NYSC scheme in the state. The state government's support has created a conducive environment for the successful implementation of the NYSC programmes in Enugu State.

Mrs Awolola expressed gratitude to Gov. Peter Mbah's administration for its unwavering commitment to the welfare, security, and general well-being of corps members in the state. The governor's administration has provided various interventions, including the ongoing comprehensive overhaul of facilities at the NYSC permanent Orientation Camp, Awgu.
